Prospective/Transfer International Students
International students seeking regular admission to the College of Engineering should visit the following pages:
- U-M Office of Undergraduate Admissions. International students without previous college experience are considered first-year or "freshmen" applicants for bachelor's degree programs. All freshmen applications are processed by this office.
- College of Engineering Undergraduate Admissions. International students who have already completed some college-level courses and wish to continue their undergraduate studies at the U-M are considered "transfer" students.
- College of Engineering Graduate Recruiting and Admissions. International students seeking admission to graduate-level engineering programs (e.g. master's and doctoral degrees) must apply directly to the academic department. Details about the graduate application process can be found on this page.
