The College of Engineering Alumni Awards honor those alumni who personify the College’s tradition of excellence. The awards are presented at the Alumni Awards Dinner, which is traditionally held during Michigan Engineering Homecoming Weekend each fall.
The annual award categories are:

On Friday, October 12, the achievements of 16 extraordinary alumni were celebrated at the Alumni Awards Dinner at the Michigan League. (See recipients from previous years)
Alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends are welcome to submit nominations for the 2013 Alumni Awards!
Simply download the appropriate nomination forms (below), print them out or complete them online, and mail or email them to the College along with supporting documentation. (Download requires free Adobe Acrobat Reader.)
The Alumni Award recipients are selected annually by a committee of alumni, faculty and staff. Nominations must be received by April 5, 2013.
The Alumni Distinguished Service Award was established to honor a College of Engineering graduate who has given generously of time and talent to further College projects and activities. Service may be to the College as a whole or to an individual department. One award will be presented annually. Nominees may not be current Board members, but former Board members may be nominated.
The Alumni Medal was established in 1992 to honor those alumni who personify the College’s tradition of excellence. Each year the Alumni Medal is presented to an alumnus/a who has attained extraordinary achievement in a field of specialization, and who has brought distinction to the College of Engineering. It is the highest accolade awarded by Michigan Engineering alumni.
Established in 2001, the Alumni Recent Engineering Graduate Award is presented annually to an alumnus/a who has contributed substantially to his/her field and has either graduated from the College of Engineering within the last ten years or is no more than 35 years old. Nominees will be judged by their demonstrated leadership skills, professional contribution and service to the community or the College of
Engineering.
