University of Michigan Rackham Graduate School
Admission application fee waivers are granted directly from the University of Michigan for students demonstrating financial need. There are also some other miscellaneous group categories for fee waivers on a national level (following) that Rackham does not grant but recognizes.

Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC)
These admission application fee waivers are granted to "students who will bring qualities and experience that will enhance the diversity of graduate students " and are applying to Big Ten Conference institutions.

Ronald E. McNair Scholars
Admission application fee waivers are granted for all McNair Scholars applying to graduate programs at the University of Michigan.

Project 1000
Underrepresented students can submit one complete graduate admission application package to Project 1000 and have it officially submitted to a maximum of seven institutions on your behalf.
