A Message from the Department Visits Co-Chairs

Welcome to the University of Michigan!  This is your weekend to experience all that the College of Engineering and Ann Arbor have to offer, and we hope that you will make the most of your short stay.  We encourage you to take ownership of your weekend, whether you venture out to campus and Ann Arbor when you arrive on Thursday night or take everything in while meeting with your department on Friday.  Departments in the College of Engineering are consistently ranked amongst the top ten nationally, but it is the combination of outstanding academics, a diverse student body, and a culturally vibrant location that make the Michigan experience truly unique. Throughout the weekend, there will be current graduate students to answer all your questions - from the best way to find a research topic to the best place to grab a burrito.   We invite you to ask, explore, and discover why the University of Michigan is truly the best place to spend your graduate years and launch your career.
