"I'm Steven Morris, a first year PhD student in Chemical Engineering under the guidance of Prof. Max Shtein. I applied to continue studies at the University of Michigan after receiving my BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Immediately after the recruiting weekend last March, my decision had already been made. The visit was a great opportunity to tour facilities, meet current students, connect with other prospective students, and interact with the friendly and motivated faculty. It was also a great experience to learn about the faceted culture of Ann Arbor. My decision to attend the University of Michigan was based upon the quality programs, plentiful resources and facilities, and academic excellence known across the world."
