Hunter Brown
Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering

Hunter is a Ph.D. student in the Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Program studying under Dr. Ryan Eustice. He holds a B.S. in Applied Math from North Carolina State University and M.S. in Ocean Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
"I visited the University of Michigan the summer before classes started last Fall, and met with my future advisor and several departmental staff. I was immediately put at ease with a personal tour of the department and the availability of everyone to make time for an interested student."
"Why did I choose Michigan? Now that winter has arrived, and having moved from Florida, I've asked that same question to myself several times. Each time, I reply with, 'Top ten engineering school, great resources for research,' and although the scuba diving isn't quite as warm as in Florida, there's still, 'great scuba diving in the great lakes.'
