Official Admission is determined by faculty within engineering departments.  Each Department has a faculty admissions committee which coordinates efforts among the respective faculty members.  The Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan is the administrative body for overseeing the admissions process.  Most engineering masters and doctoral degrees are administered through our Rackham Graduate School; although the Professional and Interdisciplinary Programs are solely administered by the College of Engineering.
