Utility shutdowns:
TESTING OF THE FIRE ALARMS AT BONISTEEL INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH BUILDING

August 26, 09:00
This is a notification of testing of the fire alarms at Bonisteel Interdisciplinary Research Building (402).
During this time panels maybe beeping and air handlers maybe shutdown.
The ring test will be from 7:30am to 8:30am on Wednesday 9/3/08.
NO need to evacuate the building.
The testing and inspection has been scheduled for 9/2/2008 at 7:30 AM to 9/3/2008 at 3:30 PM.
The purpose of this is: To do the annual testing and inspection of the fire alarm system. The Fire Protection Shop will be in the building each day from 7:30 am to 3:30pm.
The Plant Operations Call Center has been informed that the following shop will be performing work during this test: Electronics/Alarms (M2001).
It is expected that these shops will have completed their work by 9/3/2008 at 3:30 PM.\n\n
The Plant Operations person responsible for the test is John Birkle.\n\n

Utility shutdowns:
SHUTDOWN OF PROCESSED WATER AT BROWN GEORGE GRANGER MEMORIAL LABORATORIES

August 26, 15:00
This is a notification of a shutdown of the processed water at Brown George Granger Memorial Laboratories (407).
This shutdown will affect the processed cold water and the processed cold water that feeds the boiler the high pressure steam will also be down at this time.
The shutdown has been scheduled for 9/3/2008 at 8:00 AM to 9/3/2008 at 12:00 noon.
During this time processed water will be out of service.
The purpose of this shutdown is: To repair a leaking processed cold water pipe in lab room 1069.
The Plant Operations Call Center has been informed that the following shop will be performing work during this shutdown: North Campus Zone (M2200).
It is expected that these shops will have completed their work by 9/3/2008 at 12:00 noon.

SHUTDOWN OF WATER DOMESTIC AT BAGNOUD FRANCOIS-XAVIER BUILDING

August 28, 10:00
This is a notification of a shutdown of the water domestic at Bagnoud Francois-Xavier Building (395).
This shutdown will affect the water to the first floor two labs and the restrooms.
The shutdown has been scheduled for 9/4/2008 at 8:00 AM to 9/4/2008 at 12:00 noon.
During this time water domestic will be out of service to the 1st floor.
The purpose of this shutdown is: To rebuild the stop for the women’s restroom 1200.
The Plant Operations Call Center has been informed that the following shop will be performing work during this shutdown: North Campus Zone (M2200).
It is expected that these shops will have completed their work by 9/4/2008 at 12:00 noon.
The Plant Operations person responsible for the shutdown is Jerry Scheid.
