Space Research Building

The Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences, including the Space Physics Research Laboratory, resides within this newly-expanded structure. SPRL, founded in 1946, conducts experimental and theoretical research in atmospheric sciences and designs satellite instruments for space research. The Space Research Building is also the home of the premier website, Weather Underground.
