François-Xavier Bagnoud Building

François-Xavier Bagnoud Building In addition to Aerospace Engineering classrooms, lecture halls, an auditorium, library and computing facilities, research labs, and faculty and staff offices, the FXB Building boasts the Edward A. Stalker Subsonic Wind Tunnel Lab, a two-foot-by-two-foot open circuit wind tunnel with removable test section. FXB's three-story atrium is a striking architectural feat.

The building is dedicated to the memory of Michigan Engineering alumnus François-Xavier Bagnoud (BSE AeroE '82), who died on a helicopter mission in 1986, and was made possible by a gift from the Association François-Xavier Bagnoud.
