Environmental and Water Resources Engineering Building

The EWRE Building, formerly known as Engineering 1-A, now bears a name that properly fits its function as home to the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic Center for Hazardous Substance Research and other programs in Environmental Engineering, including efforts to predict pollutant movement through ground water, to convert pollutants to less harmful forms, and to design physical-chemical contaminant removal treatment processes.
