Engineering Programs Building

Originally the home of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, EPB now provides classrooms and offices for the Program in Technical Communications and a base of operations for the Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Center of Excellence. Completion of a Student Team Project Center in EPB's south wing is projected for 1998. The prominent white piping that hugs EPB's north exterior is Aerospace Engineering's low-speed five-foot-by-seven-foot wind tunnel. The tunnel is used Aerospace Engineering faculty and students, and by external users who test everything from bobsleds to automobiles.
