Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Building
The opening of the EECS Building marked the completion of the College of Engineering's 30-year move from Central to North Campus. While dedicated to the classrooms, research, and office needs of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, this building also serves as the headquarters of several student societies. EECS contains many of the College's most technologically advanced research environments, including the Solid State Electronics, Vehicular Electronics, and Electro Optics Laboratories, and the Center for Space Terahertz Technology. The four-story EECS atrium is among North Campus's most outstanding architectural features.
