Walter E. Lay Automotive Engineering Laboratory

True to its name and its namesake, a former Mechanical Engineering professor, the Lay Auto Lab accommodates education, research, and student projects on automotive, engine friction, combustion, emissions control and vehicular electronics design, encompassing 20 engine test cells, a five-bay vehicle laboratory, machine shops, and instructional and computer laboratories, including Fluid Mechanics.
