We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2009 EGL Difference Campaign, our first official Alumni Fundraising Program. With new cultural, leadership and professional development, social, and community service events, our goal is to ensure that all EGL students may participate in society activities, regardless of their financial situation. We envision all students having the opportunity to explore, learn, and develop, so we can have more students enjoy the benefits of EGL. We hope you take the pledge to join the EGL Elite, those who donate to the EGL Difference Campaign. To make your giving easier, we have designated two levels of giving:

| Active | $30-$99 | EGL Elite Certificate, Recognition in EGLink Newsletter, Inclusion on EGL.Elite email address for EGL Alumni Networking. |
| Distinguished | $100+ | All Active Level benefits, plus: Pint Glass with EGL and Block M Logos, Opportunity to Speak at EGL Meeting |
Giving Online with a Credit Card
(how to designate your online gift to EGL)
- Visit the EGL Giving website by clicking "Give Online" in the right-hand column above, or copy and paste this link into your web browser: http://www.giving.umich.edu/give/eng-global
- You will be automatically taken to the secure EGL online giving form.
- Enter the amount of the gift.
- Next to 'EGL Gifts" enter 100% for the split.
- Complete and submit the remainder of the online form.
- If you intend this gift to be used for a specific EGL project or event (such as the EGL Volunteer Abroad), please send an email to Stacie Edington (sjed@umich.edu) to indicate this purpose. Otherwise, gifts will be used to support the EGL student activities where the need is the greatest.
Giving by Check
- Please make check payable to “The University of Michigan”.
- Write "EGL Honors Program" in the memo line of the check.
- If you intend this gift to be used for a specific EGL project or event (such as the EGL Volunteer Abroad), please enclose a letter indicating this purpose. Otherwise, gifts will be used to support the EGL student activities where the need is the greatest.
