Business Core

Students must complete 12 credits of undergraduate or graduate credits at the Ross School of Business. To gain a broad understanding of business, EGLs historically have taken introductory courses in Accounting, Finance, and Marketing.

In some departments, business courses may be used to satisfy engineering degree requirements. For example, in some departments, business courses may be counted toward the technical elective requirement. Please contact your departmental advisor to find out which business courses (if any) could be counted towards your engineering degree.

The following list includes a sample of courses commonly taken to fulfill the business core.  Please note that ANY course taught by the Ross School of Business may be counted toward the EGL business core requirement.
