Field and analytical studies of marine environmental
hydrodynamics with emphasis on mathematical modelling of nearshore
waves, currents and shoreline evolution. Active microwave
remote sensing of ocean dynamics including wave/wave, wave/current,
wave/topographic interactions with recent work in signatures
of surface ship wakes and naturally occuring ocean surface
processes. The development of in situ and remote oceanographic
instrumentation and data acquisition systems designed to measure
the spatial and temporal structure of coastal boundary layer
flows.
