Professor Harry Benford is turning 90 years young this year!!

Want to help Harry commemorate this amazing milestone?

We have two very special ways you can help:

Pay tribute to Harry for his everlasting dedication to over two generations of students, and his many years in the field of naval architecture and marine engineering by contributing to the Harry Benford Fund. This fund was established by an anonymous donor earlier this year and will eventually endow a prestigious professorship in Harry’s name.

Attend the University of Michigan Department of NA & ME Alumni Dinner that will be held on November 16, 2007 at the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers annual meeting in Ft.
