Connie joined the U–M community in the Chemical Engineering Department in October 2000. She came to the University with over 20 years business office experience.

Currently, Connie provides high-level administrative assistance for:

• Professor Mark Burns
• Professor Erodgan Gulari
• Professor Sharon Glotzer
• Assistant Professor Joerg Lahann.

Connie’s responsibilities include pre-award and post-award support for Professor Mark Burns including budget preparation. Additionally, she is responsible for handling all aspects of the NIH Training Program (pre-award and post-award), providing administrative financial support for multiple research programs including reconciling and monitoring sponsored research and departmental grants, ensuring compliance with university and sponsor regulations, providing complex assistance for her specified faculty and their 4 research groups, reconciling 5 pcards, and preparing and processing other sensitive documentation.
