**OPEN POSTDOCTORAL POSITION (posted 6/11/08)
Research in the Linderman group focuses understanding the binding of extracellular ligands to cell surface receptors and the signal transduction events involved in the generation of a cellular response. This communication between cells and their surroundings is critical to healthy cell function and is also key to pharmacologic manipulation of cell behavior. Current work includes studies on (1) the dynamics of G-protein coupled receptors, (2) bone tissue engineering, (3) the role of antigen presentation in immunity, and (4) mathematical models of signal transduction.
