Admissions Committee: Evaluation and Time Line

Applications are evaluated by the chemical engineering graduate admissions committee on an ongoing basis.  Applications can be evaluated after the deadline, however, the chances for admission/financial aid decline.

January 15 Applications are due
January 1-30 Applications are assembled and evaluated
February 1-10 First round of admission/financial aid offers are mailed to domestic applicants
Late February Admission offers without financial aid, and admission to Master's program are mailed to domestic applicants
Late February First round of admission/financial aid offers are mailed to international applicants
Early March Second round of admission/financial aid offers are mailed to domestic applicants
Early March Phone calls are made or emails are sent to domestic admits with financial aid
Mid March Letters are sent to applicants whose applications are on hold for a possible admission/financial aid offer
Late March Letters are sent to all applicants who will not be receiving admission offers
Early April Second round of admission offers are mailed to international applicants
Mid April Final admission decision letters are mailed to all applicants whose application were on hold
April 15 Due date for all outstanding admission offers
