Desh studies of structure and rheology of colloidal dispersions is of both fundamental and commercial interests.
The presence of model material as well as theoretical models has facilitated study of isotropic colloidal system, while system of anisometric colloids is not yet well understood due to unavailability of experimental data. The aim of my research is to develop methods to synthesize anisotropic particles (both shape and functionality) and study the dynamics of their suspensions along with microstructure of their self-assemblies.
