-Research Interests-

I am currently studying the coking mechanism of hydrocarbon reforming over nickel catalysts. I use the TGA/FT-IR systems to monitor mass changes and reaction products during the reforming of isooctane (a synthetic gasoline).

Future research will involve the gasification of carbonaceous deposits, such as coke and coal, using concentrated solar energy.
