Research
Interests:

Applied Mathematics, Process Modeling, Quantitative cell biology, Mathematical models for tissue engineering, Polymerization kinetics,

My current work is a part of the multidisciplinary research project at U of M. The overall objective of the project is to develop a functionalized bone tissue in-vitro, and I am working on mathematical modeling aspects for developing the tissue in the micro-fabricated bioreactors developed by Prof. Takayama’s lab. Further, I am also working on developing quantitative models for cell differentiation under the influence of exogenous or endogenous cytokines.
