Template Electrodeposition of Metallic and Semiconductor Nanowires

I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow working on metallic and semiconductor nanowires. I will study template electrodeposition of metallic nanowires with quantum dot junctions incorporated that shall be investigated by multi-probe STM in collaboration with Prof. Stephen Evans at the University of Leeds. I am currently working on the spontaneous self-assembly of CdTe nanowires from nanoparticles and will go on to study their electronic properties. The goal will be to produce assemblies of nanowire components using room temperature self-assembly processes.
