Computing resources are supported by the
Center for Advanced Computing. In addition to supporting the Glotzer Group G5 cluster,
the CAC also provides the group with access to approximately 650 AMD Opteron cpus,
connected with Force-10 and Infiband networking.
Current Glotzer Group resources include:
- Apple G5 Cluster (AON)
- 220 dual processor Apple G5 nodes @ 2.0 ghz
- 440 total processors
- Dual raid systems
- Gigabit/Fast Ethernet service network
