Will Hansen has been teaching and conducting research at the University of Michigan since 1982. He specializes in pavements and cement based materials, and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in those areas. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1983, and his M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, Denmark.

Ashraf Mohamed is a post-doctoral fellow specializing in microstructural modeling of concrete behavior and progressive failure. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1997, and M.S. and B.S. degrees from Alexandria University in Egypt.

Chris Byrum is a doctoral student working in the area of pavement modeling. Mr. Byrum received his M.S. from the University of Michigan, and his B.S. from Michigan Technological University.

Elin Jensen is a doctoral student studying the fracture toughness mechanisms in concretes containing various aggregates and mix designs. She received an M.S. from Aalborg University in Denmark.

Phil Mohr is a doctoral student specializing in cement hydration kinetics and blended cements. He earned his M.S. from the University of Michigan, and his B.S. from the University of Virginia.

Ivindra Pane is a doctoral student studying the early age response of pavements due to environmental conditions and vehicle loading. Mr. Pane received his M.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1996, and his B.Eng. from Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia in 1995. He is most interested in the load transfer across cracks.
