Engineering students construct greenhouses for public schools

Engineering 100 Home
Engineering 100 prepares students for their future careers by giving them practice in the overall work experience of professional engineers. This includes:
- technical problem solving and engineering design
- preparation of written technical reports and oral presentations including mixed audience analysis
- team management
- ethical decision-making
Indeed, a strength of Engineering 100 is that it integrates these skills together in one global experience for the students, much as their future careers at UM and beyond will demand.
There are several sections of Engineering 100, each based on a different field of engineering. First-year students select a section that interests them, and is the basis around which their first-year schedules are arranged.
