Technology Transfer
The U-M Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) is the University organization responsible for the transfer of University-generated technology to the marketplace. The Corporate Relations Office at the College of Engineering works closely with OTT, and will gladly facilitate an introduction and initial meeting for your company as we work to define the details of your engagement with campus.
An initial meeting typcially involves an overview of your company's strategic direction and technical needs and interests. From there, the appropriate OTT representative will discuss the process of licensing U-M generated technology or intellectual property, and the services the office provides for companies, innovators and entrepreneurs,
