Burke family

Michael and Linda E. Burke (AB ’70) and Jenifer Burke (BSE CE ’97, BS ’97) have provided an additional gift towards the Burke Endowed Scholarship Fund. This fund supports enrolled full-time junior or senior level undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need who are residents of the State of Michigan. The purpose is to encourage and facilitate the completion of an engineering degree, and students may maintain this scholarship through their senior year, provided they are still in good academic standing. This gift qualifies for the Bicentennial Opportunity Matching Initiative. Michael and Linda Burke are the founders of Lakeshore Products (LSP), a company that has been manufacturing marine products, such as boat lifts and dock systems, for over thirty years. An architect and engineer by training, Jenifer Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Burke’s daughter, now manages the operations as president of LSP. The company operations and Burke family reside in Quincy, Michigan
