Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger
 This small 37-tube heat exchangeris used to investigate overall, tube-side, and shell-side heat-transfer coefficients and to compare and contrast counter-current and co-current operation. In addition, students may be asked determine a fouling factor and operating limits for this exchanger.
This equipment is for the study and characterization of heat transfer coefficients and their dependency on flow regimes and fluid properties.
