Two-Phase Flow This is an apparatus of three vertical transparent tubes with compressed air and water supplies. Students use it to explore the relation between gas flow rate and void fraction for the slug-flow regime. They are also asked to investigate a potential flow solution for flow of liquid around a gas bubble. |
