Overview of CAEN Support Services

CAEN offers a variety of services to support the College of Engineering community. Below are a few examples of our help services. Refer to the CAEN Introduction Page for an overview of how CAEN supports the College of Engineering.

Contact CAEN Online 

You can ask questions via Contact CAEN. Contact CAEN provides an online tracking system that allows you to report software or network problems, submit requests for service, and ask questions. When available, you also have the option of chatting live with a CAEN consultant. CAEN consultants work to respond to your request and assist you with your concerns as soon as possible.

The Hotline

Knowledgeable consultants are available to help you with your computing account, software, and general questions our services at the CAEN Hotline. For more information on the Hotline, including location and hours of operation, please visit the CAEN Hotline web page.

The Service Center

The CAEN Service Center is a fully authorized warranty repair facility for Apple computers, available to all College of Engineering departments. They are located in 1404 Duderstadt Center, with entry through the building's loading dock. For more information including hours of operation and rates, visit the CAEN Service Center web page.

The Administrative Office

The CAEN Administrative Office is responsible for billing with desktop and network installations, software, and other CAEN services. CAEN lab reservations are also handled through the office, and any billing concerns that one might have can be addressed here. The office is located in room 2161 Duderstadt Center, and you can contact them via phone at (734) 615-4321 or fax at (734) 615-3011. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
