RSS Feeds
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a popular means of sharing content (such as news headlines) without requiring readers to constantly contact a site for updates. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks to longer articles or web pages.
In order to view CAEN's RSS outage feed, you will need to download and install RSS reader software, also known as news aggregator software. Alternately some browsers, including Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari, have functionality built-in to pick up RSS feeds for you. Once you have a news reader, you can decide what content you want. As you visit websites, you may notice an orange button to an RSS feed. If you click on the link or button, you can subscribe to the feeds.
