VMAP Software at the College of Engineering
The VMware Academic Program (VMAP) is a software licensing program for the academic community. At the College of Engineering, the program enables students (enrolled in at least one Engineering academic course during the current term) and regular faculty to use several VMware software products and online resources for course development, instruction and non-commercial research. The applications available through this program include:
- VMware Fusion
- VMware vCenter Lab Manager
- VMware vCenter Server
- VMware vSphere
- VMware Web-based eLearning
- VMware Workstation
For more information about eligibility and restrictions, see our page on the highlights of the VMAP license.
Note: CAEN will not provide support for VMAP beyond managing access and issuing downloads. CAEN will not troubleshoot or support problems with software installations, errors while using the software, or development with the software. CAEN will not support problems with VMAP software on personal computers; each personal computer is unique and CAEN cannot support individual configurations.
Verify Your VMAP Access
If you are a College of Engineering student and are enrolled in courses, you may already have access to VMAP.
