Sun Academic Initiative Web-Based Training
CAEN is pleased to provide all University faculty, staff, and students access to the Sun Academic Initiative (SAI) web-based training, free of charge. Sun's courses cover a variety of topics, including Java Technology, Administration of the Solaris OS, and using the StarOffice productivity Suite. The content is delivered through the Sun Learning Connection which uses the Learning Management System (LMS) delivery platform.
You do not have to submit an SAI application to Sun to gain access; CAEN has already done that for you. In order to obtain instructions on how to register for one of these workshops, you must simply have a valid UMICH uniqname and password.
