With CAEN secure wireless availability now expanding into many new locations on North Campus, it is time to keep up with the times and take advantage of new computing possibilities. The CAEN wireless network is a Virtual Private Network (VPN), designed to provide an encrypted and secure wireless environment.

The new version of Cisco Systems VPN client, version 4.x, is now available for use on the CAEN wireless network. Information on how to upgrade to the new client, along with location availability, can be found on the CAEN wireless web site at http://www.engin.umich.edu/caen/network/wireless.
