CAEN Begins Using Footprints
Starting Spring term, CAEN will use the FootPrints helpdesk tool to track and manage all customer support issues. FootPrints is a highly-customizable, web-based, commercial software product that is now being used by several IT organizations at the University on a collaborative server.
For the past five years, CAEN has used the Action Request System from Remedy Corporation. As with Remedy, customers will receive an automatic email notification whenever a service request or issue is submitted to the CAEN staff. With FootPrints, users will also receive a notification whenever their issue has been updated.
