Workshop: COMSOL Transport Phenomena and Electrochemical Modeling

On March 11, COMSOL will give a free Transport Phenomena and Electrochemical modeling workshop at University of Michigan. The motto of this workshop is "learn-by-doing". The goal of this workshop is to teach you the skills needed to simulate your problem in COMSOL Multiphysics, whether you are new to COMSOL or an experienced user. Areas covered will be simulations of:

  • Coupled nonlinear multiphysics
  • Momentum transport: Navier-Stokes and Porous media flow
  • Mass transport and diffusion-convection-migration phenomena
  • Heat transfer
  • Primary, secondary, and tertiary current density distributions in electrochemical cells.

Registration is available online at: http://www.comsol.com/events/tpew/6462/

Program:
  • Title: Transport Phenomena and Electrochemical Engineering Seminar
  • Time: 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
  • Location: Dunderstadt Center, Room 1180
  • Title: Hands-on Workshop
  • Time: 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
  • Location: Dunderstadt Center, DC Win 1
