The CAEN Hotline
Knowledgeable consultants are available to help you with your computing access, software, and general computer questions at the CAEN Hotline. You can visit the main Hotline in room 1315 of the Duderstadt Center, or the Hotline Express on the second floor (next to the library reserves desk). You may call a consultant at (734) 764-CAEN (764-2236), or email caen@umich.edu. Hotline consultants can:
- Issue CAEN computing accounts and help with account-related problems
- Assist with accessing CAEN computer labs and software
- Answer basic questions about Windows and Linux operating systems
- Help resolve printing problems with CAEN computers and printers
- Troubleshoot network and wireless access problems

Hours of Operation
The CAEN Hotline hours will vary depending on the time of year. The Hotline is closed during University holidays. The Hotline is also closed when the Duderstadt Center is closed (see hours). In general, the Hotline is open at the following times:

Note: On days when classes are not in session (e.g. during exams, or Spring Break), the Hotline is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
