After I installed the Cisco VPN client, I noticed that a /opt folder appeared. What is this?

Mac OS 10.4.x users may notice a /opt folder at the root level of their computer. DO NOT delete this folder. If deleted, the VPN client will not run and will have to be reinstalled.

I still use Mac OS 9 (or below). Why won't the VPN client work with my computer?

Due to the method of encryption that the CAEN Wireless VPN uses, you must be using the Mac OS X VPN.

Can I use the built-in VPN client for Mac OS X to connect to CAEN Wireless?
