There is no charge to terminate service for a host. However, if you are subscribed to a CAEN service, maintenance will be charged until the termination paperwork is submitted. Turning off or unplugging your machine does not constitute a termination of services. Termination of service also requires that CAEN reinstall the operating system on your host to remove all licensed software.

If you would like to terminate service, remove any maintenance subscriptions, or change your CAEN service level agreement in any way, you must fill out, sign and submit the relevant sections of a CAEN Equipment & Service Form. If you would like CAEN to dispose of your machine, there is a $52.00 charge per machine. Be sure to notate that you want CAEN to dispose of your host on the Equipment & Service Form. Also be sure to indicate a chartfield combination to charge.
