Software Licensing

The following software packages are currently available for CoE departments to obtain departmental licenses by cost-sharing with CAEN. These are the same versions available in CAEN computer labs:

The prices of these packages vary on how many cost-share partners are involved in the program. Generally when cost-sharing software with the CoE departments, CAEN will pay for half the price of the license and collect the other half from involved departments. The cost-sharing for these packages is an annual fee (i.e. not a one-time fee). In most cases, licensing is for departmentally-owned computers only, and does not cover installations on home computers. Installation media can be obtained from your departmental computing support staff.

The lists of software are either:

  1. Packages we (CAEN) have College of Engineering site licenses for.
  2. Packages ITCS or LSA have University site licenses for, and CAEN has decided to cover the College of Engineering portion of the license.
