Course Support

It is the mission of CAEN to support and encourage the most efficient and effective use of computers, networking, information, and instructional technology in order to improve the quality of education and research within the College of Engineering (CoE). CAEN provisions a comprehensive set of computing and networking technologies and services in support of the instructional and research missions of the CoE.  CAEN provides up-to-date student computer labs, software environments, and customer support services.  These activities enhance the productivity and effectiveness of faculty, students, and staff as they pursue their goals at the CoE.

Talented and committed staff are available to assist engineering faculty interested in exploring how commercial packages, or those developed at other universities, can be integrated into the classroom. CAEN staff members research various software sources to find solutions that address faculty interests and oversee software installation and implementation. CAEN also can assist faculty and staff with WWW projects, specific software and hardware questions, instructional technology, and many other concerns.
