Payment
All repairs must be paid for by a departmental account (shortcode or chartfield combination required). Warranty work done may require a dated sales receipt for verification of warranted work.
Note: Warranty repairs for all non-Apple equipment must be directed to the manufacturer or another authorized facility. For information on getting your non-Apple computer repaired, choose from the list of manufacturers in the right menu of this page.
Service Center Policies:
- All non-warranty requests will be charged a one hour labor deposit. This deposit will be applied against the repair costs.
- All warranty requests for which no warranty repair is necessary will be charged a minimum of one hour labor.
- A one hour labor charge will be added to all warranty repairs that require the removal of computer viruses in order to diagnose or correct the problem. This charge may be waived if an actual warranty repair is found.
- All equipment not picked up within 10 business days of initial notification of repair completion will be assessed a $30 storage fee.
- All equipment not picked up after 30 days of initial notification of repair completion will be disposed of.
