Display computer or other electronic media sources on a large projection screen.
This projector can display computer presentations from a connected laptop or, when available in the room, video from a VCR/DVD player or images from a document camera. Use the button panel on the wall to control what source is displayed on the projector. You should not need to use a remote control for this projector, or press any buttons on the projector itself.

Verify that the proper input source is selected. Press the button for the source you want to display (for example "LAPTOP" or "DOC CAM"). If this does not solve the problem when doing computer projection, make sure your laptop is configured to output compatible video. The native resolution of this projector is 1024 x 768. For the best quality image, set your laptop to output video at this resolution, and (if you have the option) select 60 Hz as the refresh rate.
Play sound through multiple large speakers with full control over volume levels.
Stereo sound is played for all sources in the room, including the Laptop audio input and DVD/VCR Player (if installed).
Control all A/V capabilities in the room from one easy-to-use button panel.
Allows easy selection of sources for projection, eliminating the need for hand-held remote controls. Press the button corresponding with the device to project, such as "Laptop", "DVD/VCR", or "Doc Cam" (if available). This will turn on the projector and switch to that source automatically. When finished, press the "Proj Off" button to turn off the projector. Volume control buttons are also provided, and a "Problem Report" button which will notify support staff when pressed. Some rooms also offer the ability to turn off wireless internet access via the button panel.
More information on the use of the button panel can be found in the following document:

Selecting a Source to Project
A wall-mounted button panel is used to turn on the projector and select between two sources: "LAPTOP" and "DVD/VCR". When finished using the equipment, press the "OFF" button on the button panel.
A camera is installed in this room for remote testing of the video equipment. It is never used during a scheduled class or event unless a problem has been reported in the room. It is not used for surveillance or security, and does not pick up audio. As a privacy feature, a bright green light around the lens will blink when it is in use.
