Graphic Design for the Web and Games
Afternoon Class, Sessions 1, 2, 3
Building an amazing game? Need to add some bling to your website? Then this is the place to be. In this class, you'll learn the skills and techniques needed to master Adobe Photoshop and Adobe ImageReady – the industry standards for creating and tweaking computer graphics and photos. This class is project oriented – so students will learn by creating, not just sitting and watching. Students and instructors will work hand-in-hand to develop graphics for both digital and real-world applications, including games, web pages, advertisements and more!

- Alpha Transparency for Games
- Layers and Layer manipulation
- Manipulating RGB Channels
- Vectors and Masks
- Shading and Shadowing Techniques
- Image Formats Selection
- Creating Textures for 3D objects
- Roll-Overs and Image Maps
This class complements any of the morning classes -- in particular it is highly recommended to take in conjunction with the Web Programming Essentials morning class.
As time and interest permits, students will also be introduced to the industry standard for creating vector artwork with Adobe Illustrator.
