One-week All Day Class

Discover the world of digital photography and how to shoot pictures like the pros! Unlike the one-week digital photo courses, this course will take you deeper into the realm of photography. Discussions will range from purpose and intending meanings behind photographs to technical details of how light is focussed through a lens.  Further emphasis will be placed on printing and publishing - we're moving past the world of haphazard Facebook photo albums.

Learn how to:

• Take great pictures with your digital camera
• Learn about file formats and resolution
• Manipulate images in Photoshop  to enhance contrast, correct color, change tonal values, & repair less than perfect photos
• Use layers and prepare images for print and web
• Become familiar with photographic concepts such as:
  
  • Depth of Field
  • Shutter Priority
  • Aperture Priority
  • Composition Techniques

• Publish digital scrapbooks and photo albums
