Volunteer Opportunities
Michigan Engineering alumni add value to our programs through their volunteering. Your knowledge and expertise are tremendous resources that can benefit our students, faculty and research. Here are a few ways that you can contribute to the next generation of Michigan Engineers.
Recruiting
Assist the Recruiting and Admissions office at the College of Engineering in recruiting the best and brightest to Michigan. Speak with prospective students on the phone, share your Michigan experience and answers questions about being an engineer. Note: recruiters will be contacted in February to make calls.

Just Alumni Sharing Knowledge (Just ASK)
Just ASK is about current Engineering graduate students connecting one-on-one with alumni. These mentoring relationships are intended to focus on: academics, study skills, and day-to-day issues surrounding graduate school, career planning and networking, and guidance on personal issues. Just ASK mentors are Engineering alumni who have volunteered to share their experiences with graduate students. Any current graduate student may request contact with a mentor.

HireME Student/Alumni Network
The College of Engineering Student/Alumni Network is a service that enables students and alumni to connect via email - a great way to get advice, make new friends and network. If you are registered on HireME, you can search to find College alumni by major, industry or region of the country. The Student/Alumni Network is coordinated by the Engineering Career Resource Center.
