The former chief data officer and senior Vice President of Research and Strategic Data Solutions for Yahoo!, DR Fayyad is the co-founder of two data mining companies: DMX Group and digiMIne Inc.

Toast the accomplishments of fellow graduates by attending a gala reception and dinner honoring outstanding alumni of the College of Engineering. Spend the evening connecting with old friends and enjoying one of the weekend's highlights.
Join in honoring members of the Class of 1959E as they present their Emeritus gift to the College. This is a fun evening spent celebrating the contributions of our alumni!

U-M Golf Course, tent between the 1st Tee and 9th Green
Meet and eat with your classmates before the Homecoming football game. Hear remarks from Dean David C. Munson, Jr., 
see the 2008 North American Solar Car Challenge winning car Continuum and talk with the 2009 Solar Car team. Entertainment by Michigan's own Friars, an a capella group with a decidedly different twist.

Young Alumni Meet & Greet

If you graduated 10 years ago or just one, this is your time to join other recent graduates and current Engineering seniors after the football game for light refreshments and fun. Catch up with friends over a pint and reminisce about your days on campus. Meet graduating seniors, who are preparing to join your alumni ranks, and share your real-world experiences.
